Art is the engine of  social unity and reconstruction 

Greetings, I am Jahir Uddin Zoomon, and I believe the art movement's role in the Unity for Social Reconstruction of Bangladesh is not merely illustrative but essential and transformative. Art is the mirror and the engine of a nation's soul. art as the engine of social unity.  Art, in its many forms—painting, sculpture, poetry, and performance—has historically served as a powerful, unifying force in Bangladesh. The quest for social reconstruction, post-conflict and in the face of persistent societal challenges, demands a renewed commitment to this legacy. Unity is not a given; it is a creative act, and the art movement must be the primary architect.

• Bridging Divides: Our art must move beyond urban galleries and into the heart of the community, fostering dialogues that bridge the chasms of class, region, and identity. Public art, murals, and community-based projects can create shared ownership of the national narrative.

• Healing the Trauma: Through evocative and cathartic expression, art offers a unique language for processing national trauma and historical injustices. It can foster empathy and mutual understanding, which are foundational to true social reconstruction.

• Championing Progress: The modern art movement must reflect contemporary social issues—gender equality, environmental sustainability, and ethical governance. By presenting these themes with clarity and emotional resonance, artists can inspire civic engagement and a unified demand for a more just society.
